Windsor Golf Resort and Country Club

An 18 hole championship golf course laid around the sprawling 5 star luxury golf resort. Windsor Golf & Country Club is the only African member of the " Great Golf Resorts of the World". The course has a sprinkling of water hazards and bunkers to make it a challenging, yet enjoyable golf course. The lush fairways are lined by forests where you might even spot the Sykes monkey apart from the dozens of exotic African bird species.

Muthaiga Golf and Country Club

This championship golf course is host to the annual International Kenya Open Golf Tournament. The course has over the years been played by famous golfers such as Seve Ballesteros and Vijay Singh. The original nine holes were laid in 1913 and the course was further extended to eighteen holes in 1926. The fairways are flowing with medium to quick greens.Tees are well maintained to preserve their immaculate appearance. The club's course has an international standard with beautifully landscaped sand bunkers. Greens are irrigated. Muthaiga is noted for it's very fine greens and fairways, which gives the club a beautiful layout and one that has many challenges in store for both the regular and the visiting golfers.

Sigona Golf Club

Sigona Club was founded around 1938, with its construction and design by Mr. Berkley-Mathews . The club's eighteen-hole course, offers its members Kenya's most beautiful fairways. The toughest hole is the seventh and measures 458 yards for men and 485 for women. One of Sigona's biggest events was the Kenya Amateur Stroke Play, while its annual championship is the Sigona Bowl, which is a 54-hole tournament. A very "three dimensional" course with tees often looking down or up to the greens.

Nakuru Golf Course

Hailed as one of the most scenic golf courses in Africa, this championship golf courselaid on the Menengai Crater Hill, has stunning views of Lake Nakuru, Menegai crater and the distant Rift Valley escarpments. The course is challenging yet enjoyable for an average golfer.

Fairways are sometimes unforgivingly narrow and greens are kept medium to slow - a truly unique course.

Great Rift Valley Golf Course

This resort course is on a hill set against a backdrop of Lake Naivasha and the extinct volcano, Mount Longonot. Irrigated Fairways are lush and springy and greens well maintained. The course, designed by Swede Thomas Fjastadt, snakes through the natural Lake Naivasha vegetation such as exotic Acacia trees, and also contains water hazards.

The lodge offers bird walks, mountain biking and horse riding.

Mt Kenya Safari Club

This beautiful short course is set at the foot of the snow capped Mount Kenya, and lined by tall mountain fir trees. Lush and hilly, the course is a series of interesting par 3 holes on which players may use a range of irons ranging from a 3 iron to a Pitching Wedge off the tee.

The course is located in the Mount Kenya Safari Club grounds. Activities at the club also include fishing, horseriding, swimming and tennis. An animal orphanage is also located in the club grounds.

Karen Golf and Country Club

Home of the Kenya Open 2004 and 2005. Considered by some to be one of the prettiest courses in Kenya because of its profusion of flowering trees and bushes, Karen Country Club is a must play. It is certainly one of the top 18-hole championship courses in the country. The course is next to the house of Karen Blixen - the author of "Out of Africa" and situated in the colonial suburb of Karen. Karen Country Club is a delightful course to play. You will most likely think back on your round of golf here, with fond recollections.

Nyali Golf and Country Club

Nyali Golf and Country Club's championship golf course is the first 18 holes on Kenya's coast. This is a gently rolling course with a decent mixture of right and left doglegs and shallow fairway bushes. Players will see an abundance of wildlife including dik-dik and bands of vervet monkeys, the club's mascot, frolicking about the course. While the course is not located on the ocean, the intrinsic winds definitely influence the playing conditions. The course displays a number of beautiful flowering trees, including the flamboyant Flame tree, originally from Madagascar. This championship golf course offers all challenges experienced golfers look for, while at the same time it provides the high handicapped an entertaining.

Nyeri Sports Club

3316 yards - par 33 - 9 holes
Nyeri Sports Club is the second oldest course in the country, founded in 1910. This 9-hole course is laid out in a superb setting and offers exquisite scenery. While standing on the tee of the 6th, Mt Kenya can be seen looming above the green giving a breathtaking view of nature in all its glory. The greens are well bunkered with both sand and grass traps. The roughs are the highest you will find anywhere as the layout skirts around a thick forest of very tall evergreens. Add to this mixture a stream and a valley, and you have the recipe for a difficult game of golf. Nyeri's golf course is very pretty indeed and highly recommended for play for the ardent and the family golfer.
